Bachelor nation reality star Tia Booth announced last month that she and her partner Taylor Mock were expecting their first child together. Now, the couple has announced the gender of their little one.
Tia, who appeared on season 22 of The Bachelor and seasons 5 and 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, and Taylor shared an Instagram video that was a photo collage of learning the gender of their baby. In the photo collage, which was set to the song “slow down” by Forrest Frank, the couple held smoke and confetti poppers to reveal the news. It’s a boy!
When Tia announced her pregnancy last month, she reflected on how the news came at a challenging time in her life, as the reality star had recently lost her father. “This has undoubtedly been my most challenging season thus far. I’ve never felt such overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time. It’s been difficult to be grateful for the good as if one of the most important people in my life is missing the celebration. While I wish I could tell my dad all the good news in person, it brings me peace that he knows about it long before I do. Welcoming a new little life while mourning the loss of another proves that high emotions can exist simultaneously, and I have no doubt my dad had a hand in this.”
Tia and Taylor went public with their relationship in October of 2021 and announced their engagement this past April, just a few months before revealing their pregnancy news.
