Actress Vanessa Hudgens is going to be a mom! The French Girl star has officially confirmed she is expecting her first baby with her husband Cole Tucker. Vanessa debuted her baby bump on the Oscar’s Red Carpet.

Vanessa wore a fitted black turtleneck dress that showed off her growing baby bump. She accessorized the look with a white gold necklace and matching diamond rings and earrings. The High School Musical alum is set to co-hosting ABC’s The Oscars Red Carpet Show with actress and dancer Julianne Hough. Vanessa’s pregnancy news comes just a few months after tying the knot with Cole, a baseball player for the Seattle Mariners. The couple were wed in Tulum, Mexico in December 2023.

The Princess Switch star has been facing pregnancy rumors as early as last October on the heels of her bachelorette party in Aspen. The rumors were started because Vanessa appeared to be wearing baggy clothing. The actress even addressed this rumors earlier this week on the podcast She Pivots. “I literally just had a run-in with the public taking control over their opinion of me in a way that was disrespectful,” Vanessa recalled. “I went out on my bachelorette and I posted video of me, and there are all these comments that are like, ‘Oh my god, you’re pregnant.'”

Vanessa and Cole first met through a fellow Disney Channel star: Joe Jonas. The two attended one of Joe’s meditation Zoom calls during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple were first spotted publicly holding hands in November 2020 but didn’t confirm their relationship until an Instagram post in February 2021. Vanessa and Cole got engaged in December 2022.

Congratulations to Vanessa and Cole on the news of their first baby!
