YouTube creator and beauty influencer Desi Perkins revealed in March of this year that she and her husband Steven were expecting their second child together. Today, the couple announced the arrival of their newborn.
“Baby girl has arrived,” Desi shared in her post that showed her newborn daughter lying on her chest. Desi and Steven welcomed their daughter, whose name they have not yet revealed on August 15th. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 21 inches long at birth. According to Desi, she was the “exact weight and size as Ocean was” when he was born. Ocean is the couple’s first child, a son whom they welcomed in October of 2020.
In addition to the announcement post in her Instagram feed, Desi shared a few snapshots on her Instagram Stories of her at the hospital. The final image showed Desi with her daughter and the influencer wrote, “I’m pretty exhausted but so happy and in love with her. Taking it all in. I can’t believe I’m a mother of two.”
The Dezi Skin founder celebrated 10 years of marriage with Steven last month. Desi shared a video collage of their wedding day with a touching caption for her partner. “It’s not lost on me how special our relationship is. You really are my best friend and I really do want you around all the time😂 I’m clinging AF. Mr @stevenperkins we have been married 10 years! How time flies and now we have Ocean and a little girl joining our squad. Happy anniversary 🤍 love you.”
