Hi Grandma Maggie,
I got pregnant about three months ago, and my husband and I just got back from a doctor’s visit and just found out that we are going to have triplets. We are not that prepared for three children right away, but family and friends have said that they will help.
So I guess what I am asking is if there is anyway you can help me by giving me advice about how to raise three children at one time. I am getting stressed about having all three of them and being a good mother, so any advice would be great.
Thanks!
Dear Friend,
Take every friend and family member up on that offer to help. See if your husband has the opportunity to take paternity leave, too. Sleep and shower when your husband and two other people are in the house ready to jump in if the babies awaken. Sleep and patience will be two important factors in being a good mother. My youngest of four single births is 42 and I am still tired! I am wishing you the best.
Good luck,
Grandma Maggie
