Catfish host Nev Schulman, girlfriend engaged and expecting first child

It must be spawning season: Nev Schulman, the host of MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show, has announced that he and his girlfriend Laura Perlongo are pregnant and engaged!

The pair who have been in a long-distance relationship for roughly seven months, said that the pregnancy was “accidentally on purpose.” Perlongo wrote a blog about the pregnancy news for on ATTN, explaining: “We had talked about wanting kids and had pulled the goalie maybe half-a-time-once but weren’t necessarily expecting this news, THE NEWS.”
