Singer-songwriter Leigh-Anne Pinnock of the British girl group Little Mix has made a surprise baby announcement today! The singer revealed in May that she and her fiancé, soccer star Andre Gray, were expecting. Today, she revealed some exciting news about welcoming her first child.
It’s twins! Leigh-Anne and Andre welcomed not one but TWO bundles of joy! Leigh-Anne shared a black and white photo of her and Andre holding both of their newborn baby’s feet. In the caption of her post, she wrote, “We asked for a miracle, we were given two… 🥺🖤 Our Cubbies are here.” The singer revealed that her babies were born on August 16th. She did not reveal the gender of her children nor the names the couple has chosen for them.
This exciting news comes just two days after Leigh-Anne’s Little Mix bandmate announced the arrival of her first child! Perrie Edwards welcomed a baby just a few days after Leigh-Anne’s twins on August 21st. Perrie also did not share details about her newborn. Perrie shared her excitement for Leigh-Anne in the comments of her announcement post writing, “Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee! ♥️”
The “Black Magic” singer has been dating Andre for five years. Andre asked Leigh-Anne to marry him on their four-year dating anniversary. When she revealed the engagement news on Instagram, the Little Mix singer wrote, “Guys.. wtf has just happened… 😩😳😂 He bloody did it, and I said yes 😩 I’m marrying my soul mate, the man of my flipping dreams… I am lost for words, so I think I’m just going to go cry some more 😩😂 @andregray_ I love you so much 😩😍❤️ My world is literally complete.”
