Actress Olivia Munn and comedian John Mulaney have reportedly welcomed their first child together! After rumors that the couple was expecting, the comedian officially confirmed the news during his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers in September. At the time, John shared that he “went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia. I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible. And we’re having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news! “Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery.”
According to TMZ, the Violet star gave birth just before Thanksgiving, on November 24th, at a hospital in Los Angeles. It’s a boy! There is no further information available about the couple’s first child at this time.
Olivia appeared on the TODAY Show before giving birth and opened up about how she was feeling about becoming a mother. “I feel good. l feel scared. I feel nervous, and I’m excited. I feel every day the feelings are just rotating through.” She also revealed that she and John were “really excited” to become parents. “We talk about the same stuff — which rocker? What type of crib do you put the baby in? What does the baby wear? Honestly, thank God for Instagram and Facebook and blogs because there’s a lot of moms who put out such great information, and that’s been a saving grace for me.”
The couple was first rumored to be dating in May of this year. Over the summer, they were first spotted publicly in Los Angeles enjoying time together. Congratulations to Olivia and John on welcoming their son into the world! We wish them all the best as they enter this exciting new parenting adventure.
