Television host Adrienne Bailon revealed surprising news today. She is a mom! After keeping her pregnancy a secret for nine months, Adrienne announced that she and her husband Israel Houghton have welcomed their first child together via surrogate.

“Our baby boy is here & we are so in love!” Adrienne wrote in her Instagram post that featured a black and white photo of the new parents with their son. The couple chose to name their baby boy Ever James. The Real co-host shared a touching poem about her song writing, “For this child we have prayed / Just to hear our baby cry / Skin to skin and face to face / Heart to heart and eye to eye.”

In her post, Adrienne opened up about her challenging journey to motherhood. “If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging – But God is true to His word and His promises. We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months. He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude. Grateful to God, to our angel surrogate and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey. He’s here and we have never been happier to lose sleep!”

Adrienne began dating Israel, a Christian musician, in early 2016. The couple dated for six months before tying the knot in November of 2016 in Paris. Israel has four children from a previous marriage: two daughters named Mariah and Milan and two sons named Israel (who goes by Sonny) and Jordan.

Congratulations to Adrienne and Israel on the arrival of their first child together! We wish them lots of love as they welcome Ever into their family.
