Actor Chris Pratt and his wife, author Katherine Schwarzenegger, are expecting their second child together! People Magazine exclusively confirmed the news. Chris and Katherine have not made official announcements as of yet.
The Jurassic World actor and BDA Baby podcaster welcomed their first child together last year. They welcomed a baby girl named Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt in August of 2020. At the time of Lyla’s birth announcement, the couple shared, “We couldn’t be happier and we feel extremely blessed!”
The couple has opted not to share their daughter’s face on their social media pages. While Katherine does post pictures with her daughter, Lyla’s face is always covered or out of view. Katherine shared a heartfelt post to celebrate Lyla’s first birthday this year. The author wrote, “About this time last year, I became a mama. What a magical year it’s been. I watch my little girl in awe as she grows and changes — moving from infant to baby to now the toddler phase! Clearly, I have fully embraced the mommy and me matching moments, the girly outfits, the bows and the wonderful things my mom saved for me to pass on to her. I hung up her birthday decorations in our home the night before her birthday and was so emotional thinking of how blessed I am that I get to be her mama and how much I love being with her and watching her grow. Happy happy! My little girl is 1!”
While this new baby with be Katherine’s second child, this will be baby number 3 for the Onward star. Chris shares a son named Jack with his ex-wife, actress Anna Faris.
