Actor Chris Pratt and author Katherine Schwarzenegger have announced the arrival of their second child together! Each posted an announcement to their Instagram pages that revealed their little one’s name and birth date. “We feel beyond blessed and grateful,” the couple wrote.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter,” they each wrote in their captions. Chris and Katherine named their daughter Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Eloise was born on May 21st and the Jurassic World star shared that “Mama and baby are doing well.”
News that the couple was expecting a second child together was revealed in December of last year. While they never made a formal announcement, the BDA Baby podcast host did not hide that she was pregnant.
Chris and Katherine welcomed their first child together in August of 2020, a daughter named Lyla Maria. Katherine features her daughter frequently on her Instagram but does not show Lyla’s face. Baby Eloise is Chris’s third child, he also shared a 9-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
Last year, Katherine spoke on the People Every Day podcast about how much she loves being a mother. “I’ve always wanted to be a mom and I have always really looked forward to this time in my life and been really excited about it. And I feel really just so blessed to be able to experience it and also experience it with my husband, and she’s just the best.”
