Actress and comedian Iliza Shlesinger is a mother of two! The Good on Paper writer and star has announced the birth of her second baby with her husband Noah Galuten. The comedian revealed her pregnancy last September and shared at the time that she was expecting a baby boy.
Iliza and Noah welcomed their son on February 23rd. “He’s here and we are so excited.” The couple named their first son Ethan Lyons Galuten and shared that he is “so strong just like his name.” In an interview with PEOPLE, the Pieces of a Woman star shared why she chose that name, “I picked Ethan partly because it means ‘strong’ in Hebrew and also because Ethans are usually pretty good-looking.” To end the caption of her announcement post, the comedian joked of her newborn, “He smells like syrup. He’s my little pancake man! 🥞 (Knowing me that will be one of a thousand nicknames).”
Iliza and the chef met in 2016 on a dating app and became engaged the following year. The tied the knot in May 2018 in Los Angeles. In January 2022, the couple welcomed their first baby, daughter named Sierra Mae. On becoming a mom of two, Iliza shared with PEOPLE, “[I’m] looking forward to being a little less clueless. But, at the same time, I am looking forward to discovering this brand-new person and see what he’s all about!”
