Host of E!’s Snapchat show The Rundown, Erin Lim, has announced the arrival of her first child! Erin and her husband Joshua Rhodes welcomed their little one just a little early. Erin’s due date was originally slated for December.
Erin shared happy photos of the new family in the hospital after their little one’s arrival. It’s a girl! The couple chose to name their daughter Saylor Cielo Rhodes. “Didn’t expect this week to be the best week of our lives but here we are!” Erin wrote in her caption. She also revealed the special meaning behind Saylor’s middle name.
Saylor’s middle name came from Erin’s grandmother. “‘Cielo’ was my Nana’s nickname and I know our baby girl was Heaven sent. Cielo is a Spanish name that means “sky.” Fellow E! News journalists wished Erin congratulations in her comments. Jason Kennedy wrote “Just perfect ❤️” while Morgan Stewart commented, “YES SAYLOR!!!! Hi mama and dada!!!!!!” Jason’s wife Lauren and Morgan are both actually pregnant and will be growing their families as well.
Erin kept her baby news a secret for the first 20 weeks of her pregnancy before finally revealing the news. “Hiding it for 20 weeks has been hard now that I’m this far,” she revealed to E! News at the time. “Honestly, if I wasn’t on cam all the time, I’d pull a Kylie Jenner on y’all!” she shared, referring to the Kylie Skin founder keeping the pregnancy of her first child, Stormi, a complete secret until her arrival. “But I’m also so happy to be a mom-in-the-making that I can’t contain it anymore.”
Erin and Joshua, a clothing designer, met in 2018 at church. He proposed to Erin in September 2020 surrounded by close family. They were married earlier this year on a very memorable wedding date: 1/21/21. “We decided around the holiday that because of COVID we wanted to have a small, intimate wedding with just our family,” Erin shared in March. “we decided to get married in my parent’s backyard. Joshua’s dad actually married us, so it was really, really special.”
