Last year, country singer Jimmie Allen welcomed his fourth baby, his third with his then-wife Alexis Gale. Now, the “Down Home” singer has revealed he welcomed twins with another woman a few months before the birth of his third baby with Alexis. “I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children.”

In a series of images shared on Instagram Stories, Jimmie shared pictures with each of his children, confirming the news that he had six children instead of four, sharing the images in order of oldest to youngest. He ended the series of posts with a message that read, “I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.”

Jimmie did not reveal the identity of the mother of his twins, but it was revealed that they were born in July 2023. The twins names are Amari and Aria. The twins were born just three months before Jimmie and Alexis welcomed their third baby together, a son named Cohen Ace James. The “Best Shot” singer and Alexis also share two daughters: Naomi Bettie and Zara James. Jimmie also has a son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.

When Jimmie and Alexis announced they were pregnant in April 2023, the news came alongside the couple’s separation. The singer wrote at the time, “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.” While the couple shared in October of last year that they had reconciled, it was short-lived as the couple are now separated.
