Reality star Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker have quickly become one of the most-loved celebrity couples. Reports are now claiming that the couple is trying to grow their blended family!
The Poosh founder and Blink 182 band member became engaged in October of last year after announcing they were dating earlier that same year in January. The couple had, however, been friends for many, many years before they started dating. Now, an inside source has shared with Us Weekly that the couple is trying to conceive their first child together.
“Right when they got serious,” the source revealed, “Kourt and Travis decided to put effort into getting pregnant. It was a no-brainer for both of them because they’ve set their hearts on a big family and agreed there was no point in delaying or waiting to be married first.” Both Kourtney and Travis have children from previous relationships. Kourtney shares three children with her ex Scott Disick (whom she never married): Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6. The musician shares two children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler: Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16.
The insider revealed that Kourtney is looking to conceive naturally but is open to IVF. The reality star actually opened up about freezing her eggs in a 2015 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “They will have a baby together without any doubt,” the insider commented. “It’s just a matter of when and how. Ideally, Kourtney would like a natural birth. She’s confident it won’t be a problem because she’s always been lucky to conceive naturally and has taken great care of herself physically. Certainly, though, she and Travis want to bring their own child into the picture, and if she can’t conceive, they’ll look at other alternatives.”
The insider hinted that the couple could very well be pregnant already but that it’s unlikely they will make an official announcement soon. Reportedly, the whole family knows that the couple is trying to conceive.
It wasn’t too long ago that another Kar/Jenner family member was reportedly trying to get pregnant. Last summer, it was reported that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were trying to conceive their second child. A few months later, the couple announced they were pregnant. They welcomed their second child earlier this month.
