Actor and TV host Nick Cannon has welcomed his 12th child. Model Alyssa Scott announced the arrival of her second child with The Masker Singer host. The couple’s little one was born on December 14th. “Our lives are forever changed.”

Nick and Alyssa chose not to learn the sex of their little one until they arrived and were happy to learn they were the parents of a baby girl! “I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face,” Alyssa wrote in her post. “I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!!” The couple chose to name their daughter Halo Marie Cannon.

The Wild ‘N Out host welcomed his first child with Alyssa, a son named Zen, in June 2021. Sadly, Zen passed away in December 2021 of a brain tumor. Alyssa remembered her son when welcoming daughter Halo writing in her announcement post, “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever.” Alyssa also has a daughter named Zeela from a previous relationship.

Halo is Nick’s fifth child to arrive this year. He welcomed a son named Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi and a daughter named Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole. He also welcomed his third child with Brittany Bell, a son named Rise Messiah. Nick and Brittany also share son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen. Most recently, he welcomed daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with DJ Abby De La Rosa. Nick also shares twin sons named Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby. Nick also shares twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

Congratulations to Nick and Alyssa on the arrival of baby Halo! We wish them all the best as they introduce another member to the Cannon family.
