In November of last year, actress Katie Stevens and Boys Like Girls guitarist Paul DiGiovanni announced they were expecting their first child together. Now, the couple has shared the arrival of their little one, who was born last month on February 23rd.
“She’s here,” the couple began in their joint announcement post. The Bold Type star and Paul chose to name their daughter Rome. The couple’s post featured images of the family, including one of their dogs. “Our sweet Rome, we are so in love with you.” Katie and Paul announced their baby news at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards where the actress debuted her growing bump. The star of A Christmas Open House wore a blue Roland gown that featured gold embroidered detailing and floral and feather appliqués.
On Thanksgiving last year, just a few weeks after their pregnancy news came out, Katie shared a touching post showing how grateful she was. “thankful every day that I have my health, a roof over my head, the ground beneath my feet, a job that I love, and that surrounded by the most incredible family and friends! And more importantly i’m so thankful for the family I get to create with @paulblg ❤️ Thank you for loving me and winnie so fiercely. I cant wait to see how fiercely you love our little baby, and to see you become a father. So thankful for this life ❤️ hope you all are wrapped in love during this holiday season.”
